Technique Refresher

Cable Cast-On
Saturday, July 19th from 10:30-11:30am

Each month we will offer a 1 hour Technique Refresher to help our customers improve on their knitting skills.

There are approximately thirty (30) ways to cast on. The experienced knitter will learn several and use the
appropriate cast on to its advantage. A Cable Cast-On creates a firm, beautiful edge which is also a good way to cast on stitches in the middle of your knitting.
Materials: 1 skein of yarn, US7-8 needle

Cost: $15/ 1 group class or $25/ 1 private class.

This Saturday, August 16th, the class will focus on the Long-Tail Cast-On.

A long-tail cast-on create an even, stretchy edge that works well for stockinette stitch or for ribbing. It's easy to knit from, easy to pick up stitches from and the fastest cast-on. Call today to pre-register for the class.
