The Cashmere Queen Cowl is made with two balls of Schoppel-Wolle Cashmere Queen Taupe, one ball of Schoppel-Wolle Cashmere Queen Beige and one ball of Schulana Kid-Seta Lux Taupe. This stunning cowl made of Cashmere, silk, wool, kid mohair, and lurex are combined in this unique single ply yarn. This soft, luscious yarn is a delight to wear next to the skin! It is light and airy, yet suprisingly warm. Kid-Seta Lux has the same pleasing feel of Kid-Seta with a touch of Lurex for a hint of glitz and glitter.

Shaelyn Shawl

Yarns By Design is a participant of Ravelry's In-Store Pattern Sales Program.

How it works:
YBD can search for patterns available through this service and YBD sells them to customers through the boutique. The pattern will be printed, emailed or saved to the customer’s Ravelry library.

Featuring:
Shaelyn by Leila Raabe

This top-down, center-out triangular shawl was inspired by the Alpaca Baby Blanket by Marie Grace, as well as the subtly-textured simplicity of Jared Flood’s Romney Kerchief.

It is suggested to use a sport-weight yarn on size 9 US needles for a light, airy fabric, but it may also be worked in lace or fingering weight yarn on smaller needles, or conversely, sized up with heavier yarn. The only limit is your yardage! Please plan ahead accordingly.

Yarns By Design suggests knitting this shawl with The Fibre Co. Savannah DK. Savannah is a beautiful and rustic spun 2-ply yarn with a crisp yet soft hand. The unique blend of fibers are spun and then kettle dyed, and the different way the fibers absorb the dye creates a beautiful depth of color with subtle heathered tones. Additionally, Savannah is spun and dyed in the U.S.A., and we are proud to play a small role is supporting local textile mills here in Pennsylvania. Yarns By Design has a selection of the beautiful colors to choose from to begin your project.
