Quince & Co

Yarns By Design is excited to add the Quince & Co. patterns to our collection for our customers. Now all we have to do is wait for the fibers!

Two patterns we thought you would enjoy:

Hudson by Alicia Plummer
This cowl is worked flat from a provisional cast on. The ends are grafted together to form a loop. Stitches are then picked up along each selvedge edge and joined for working in the round.


FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
39" [99 cm] in circumference and 11" [28 cm] deep

NEEDLES:
20" or longer circular needle in size US 10 [6 mm]
20" or longer circular needle in size US 10½ [6.5 mm]

GAUGE:
16 sts and 20 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking


Hamlin Peak by Pam Allen
Cardigan is worked from the top down. Eyelet increases are worked at each neck edge every RS row from beginning to hem.


FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
30 (33, 36, 38¾, 41¾, 44½, 47½, 50½, 54¼, 57¼)" [76 (84, 91.5, 98.5, 106, 113, 120.5, 128.5, 138, 145.5) cm] at bust;
shown in size 33" [84 cm] with 1" [2.5 cm] positive ease

NEEDLES:
32" circular needle in size US 8 [5 mm]
double-pointed needles in size US 8 [5 mm]

GAUGE:
16½ sts and 22 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking
